With birthing suites, board-certified specialists in Obstetrics
& Gynecology—Dr. Harnath Holmes and Dr. Susan Okoniewski—and a highly
experienced staff, we provide a safe and relaxing, homelike atmosphere
for the arrival of your child. In addition, many of our Family Practice
physicians deliver babies and it’s important to know that in virtually
all cases, your primary care physician (OB/GYN or Family Practitioner)
will be the one delivering your baby.

Dr. Holmes has over 16 years experience
as a physician and performs a full range of gynecological surgery procedures,
delivers babies and sees patients in the Family Medical Center clinic.
He performs laparascopic and endoscopic surgery and has special interests
in treating women for fertility problems, incontinence, and endometriosis.
He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Portsmouth Naval
Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Dr. Okoniewski has been a physician since
1999 and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Charleston
Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia, in 2003. She performs
the same range of services as Dr. Holmes including such surgical procedures
as caesarian sections and other procedures.
Both physicians are board-certified by the American Board
of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Fellows in the American College of Obstetrics
& Gynecology.
